Full-time Salami and Sausage Production Specialist

Job Description: Now accepting applications for a full-time salami and sausage production specialist. We will train!

 

Responsibilities Include:

·      Prepare meat for salami and sausage processing

·      Stuff sausage and salami

·      Manage salami and sausage production

·      Monitor production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards in accordance with company policies and government regulations

·      Meet order fulfillments and deadlines

·      Clean and maintain production spaces and production equipment to ensure smooth and safe operations

 

Requirements Include:

·      Excellent attention to detail

·      Time management skills

·      Integrity and dedication

·      Leadership skills and problem-solving abilities

·      Strong communication skills for teamwork

·      The ability to follow general food safety practices (GMP’s, HACCP system)

·       Basic knowledge of math, weights and measures

 

Physical Demands Include:

·      Frequently lifting or moving items of 50 plus pounds

·      Standing 8 + hours a day

·      The constant use of hands and arms

·      Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts

·      Frequent exposure to 50 degree temperatures for meat processing

·      Frequent exposure to loud noise while machinery is running

 

Experience with meat or food processing a plus. Full training will be provided to the right candidate. While this position begins as a production specialist, there are opportunities for growth to production supervisor.
